Anyone fitted off-set bushes or works component headsets to tweak handling. Look at getting a Covert, but will need it to be slacker, though not sure how much slacker. Offset bushes have an advantage as it's easy to adjust the headangle, but can't get as much tweakage. Perhaps a comination of 1 degree in the headset and 0, 0.5 and 1 degree in the bushes is a good compromise?
So, interested in people's experiences with slacking it out really. Will be used for Lakes stuff primarily, so big rocks.

Rocky mine comes out at 66.5 with 36s on - drop transition an email , usually get a proper reply with 24hrs.
Not really had it long or hard enough really but the covert is just spot on - does everything well, just flies off every little bit of trail the only bike I can compare it with is the old 180 patriots... It inspires lunacy.
Imo don't put lyrics on it - vengeance or 55s perhaps
Cool, how are you measuring your angles? I'll put Lyriks on because that's what I have, but I'll likely be changing them to something else eventually. I want 180s really, but will have to see how it rides first before doing that.
Still think RS are missing a massive trick by not doing Totem's with U-Turn, maybe it's just me though. Makes a big difference to climbing with the Lyriks and you lose that with 55s. The only 180 forks with similar are Fox, which fall to bits and cost a bazillion pounds.

180!! ****ing huge - they are rated up to 180, had a set of x-fusion vengeance hlr on it for a while. 170 but tall so probably same size as fox/rs 180 forks. It's awesome going down & plowing through everything but felt a bit tall - transition have really got the covert spot on at 160 imo of course
I'm going to miss travel adjust but a few changes & mtfu I'll manage.
Another thought is you can retro fit the RS U-turn on the x-fusion vengeance forks. So 170 coil sprung fork with travel adjust. Also, the vengeance hlr forks are shit hot! On par with 55s for plushness etc. I picked up mine for 180 quid & they had never been used!
