My new of rather nice cycling shoes are laced, which on long rides mean they invariably come untangled. IN the past I had a Velcro strap but this is missing. Does anyone know if you can buy a lace cover as a separate item?
Thanks.
Twist the loose ends together and tuck them under, shirley?
Any decent laced cycling shoes I've seen have something built in to secure the laces. Which shoes?
Little gaiters intended to stop stuff going in running shoes may do what you want

Then do what the old time cyclists used to do. Knot your laces to the outside of then shoe and the tuck the loops under the crossover lace about 2 eyelets down.
They will never come undone again.
https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/CLCAPRKRTC/carnac-parky-reflective-toe-cover for £8 or https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/CLCAPRKTC/carnac-parky-toe-cover for £6, got a pair of the reflective ordered last night using their "3 for 2" promo... Not specifically to gather the fluro orange laces of my DHB Carbon Dorika shoes, but they will do that job as well!
When you are tying the knot, start with a "left over right", then make the bows and tie them with a "right over left". This will take some thought until it becomes natural.
Sew a loop of elastic across the tongue about half way down? (similar to Giro Empire)
Specialized had some S-Works shoes a few years ago that came with a lace cover. A bit spendy though... https://www.bike24.com/p2251487.html
