Need some advice i cant decide weather i need a top swing or a conventional derailleur? spoke to various people who give me different opinions. I have had a google with no such look but is there any body that can shed some light on this or what have other people used.
Im using a 10 speed triple up front.

I ran a top swing Deore mech on mine with a double (9sp) and it worked fine mate
Either will work. It's only really on sus frames where you'd generally require one over the other.
Top swing looks tidier. Conventional probably work a bit better, but they also get in the way of the bottle cage if that's a problem? You can always get a Tacx Tao style cage anyhow, which has a gap between the mounting bolts.
