i have a cover hustler frame and the seat tube diameter is 30mm. I have a 27.2mm spacer for my thomson but i want to change to a dropper post. Does anyone know what my options are apart from gravity dropper who do a 27.2 version? As many others I dont want to pay mega money for one.

I have a Hustler too and went for the x-fusion hilo with a shim to 30mm. Its working pretty well, seems reliable so far. The only other options I could find were Gravity Dropper and the KindShock (KS i7 I think), but I couldnt find anywhere that stocked one of those. Got my hilo from Winstanleys for about £180

Gravity dropper with shim in my Hustler.

I have two another in my Cotic Soda, been running them for about 5 years and once you know how to adjust them they are solid and reliable.

According to Der Internetz, Cove happilly ream out the seattube to 30.9 on the Hustler for dropper posts. Might be worth looking into

That said, I'd probably go with a Gravity Dropper.
