This adoration of cycle couriers really irritates me. I am a middleagedlady now but back in the day - the mid 1980's as it happens I worked as a cycle courier in Central London. It was alright, I pedalled around delivering letters and model's port folios to various photography studios etc - this is of course long before the web. But none of us couriers cycled recklessly, that just didn't happen. Some of them were pretty fast yes and one of the other women couriers had bright pink punk hair but that was about as reckless as it got. So I guess I won't be going to see the film.
