What are your issues with it? I don't use it much but seems to work well when I want to cast cyclocross or downhill to my telly.

I think it's got worse to be honest. The search function is just hopeless and returns lots of irrelevant stuff or old events before the newer ones.

It stills streams fine but the way it's structured is not very good.

But hey...it's free, so can't really complain!

Have to agree that the UI is pretty abysmal and stops me using it more frequently.

cant find what you want easily
they tell you who has won an event by putting up winning runs and namimg them in the title
you cant easily skip through a program.
and lots more besides

Yep, real style over function thing. I’ve really no idea how to find something specific.

Yep, navigating the app generally and looking for something in particular is absolutely hopeless.

Agree with the OP.
Use the app both in the smartphone and smart TV to watch the DH WC. While the streaming itself is surprisingly good, the app interface is a nightmare

Yep, frustrating to use, but I have Redbull to thank for a few CX races I'd have missed otherwise so will keep using.

Oh, and really enjoyed 'The Moment' which I found randomly a few weeks ago

+1 even when I know something is on, I often can't find it!

I've not found any streaming media platform that's not got a stupidly flawed UI for my use.
However Red Bull is perhaps the only one that sets out to ruin your viewing by giving the results away before you can watch the event.

Netflix annoys me as I haven't found a way to turn off automatically playing the next episode .. Amazon Video gives you a small window to catch it or you have to watch the same ad you watched before to watch the next episode... (just a couple of stupid UI issues off the top of my head that are trivial in terms of code).

Never used BBC Sport then? Shows match highlights but puts the results on the front page.

I discovered last year that if you miss the beginning of the DH racing and you're watching with a delay, every time it glitches, it jumps to the live event. Much safer to just wait for the end and the full replay.

And then you'll find the replay above the thumbnail for the winning runs with the riders name emblazoned across it.

It amazes me what a fizzy drink manufacturer can accomplish but they must draw the line at employing good web developers.

Amazon isn't great but it is definitely better than RedBull TV. I don't even think Netflix is that great either.

YouTube seem to have it sorted out well for subscriptions, lists, watch later etc,. and find that better to use than anything else.

It doesnt work at all on my old Ipad, I've tried to relaod the app to fix things to no avail. I can see all the content but when i click to watch soemthing nothing happens at all. Very annoying, means I can't watch replays in the living room while some shite is on the TV!

Nope? I can't imagine their MTB coverage will be better than RedBull
Negative interest in anything else.

They all manage to find different but new and inventive way's of creating a poorer user experience.

It's honking.

Moreover, it honks on IOS and Android.

Multiplatform honk.

I find it a lot less frustrating to simply correspond with the UCI by letter, requesting and receiving updates about each riders downhill run or XC lap. Costs a lot in stamps but it's worth it.

Log in via a web browser;
Account > My Profile > Playback Settings; uncheck "Autoplay next episode in a series on all devices"

While you are at it you can also, as of last week, also uncheck "Autoplay previews whilst browsing on all devices"

Why all the moaning ?

It could be better but it could also be worse , but it is completely free and allows me to watch the Downhill and XC races which I would not otherwise be able to do so why would I moan.

If you dont like the App or think its a load of rubbish dont use the thing - if its so bad it tarnishes the Red Bull name then thats their problem but I give them credit for covering these events and not charging me for watching them...

A search that actually works (I've even used their exact nomenclature and still not got the event I typed in) and shows most recent not the previous years events top of the list would be nice.

I find pausing/resuming later quite frustrating, and on some occasions some of the films refuse to play on the tv app (but will through a web browser on my phone). The app refuses to open on my phone (crashes straight away). All said though it is free and some of the content is great. It's one way of exposing my kids to sports other than football…

Because it's a monopoly..(which is the UCI's fault but).. if anyone else was allowed to film then you can pick the best one for you.

I think Red Bull were/are the only ones interested in spending the money to actually broadcast the Mountain Biking, probably if they stopped we wouldn't get it at all..... I dont think there is a queue of broadcasters wanting to take over.

Its Free, if it were Netflix and your were paying for the service then yes moan if its poor but jeez would your rather have it on Red Bull with a not that great App or nothing at all ?
