Looking at a medium Soul (used) 2018 model and I’m a bit cautious on sizing. I’m literally just on the cusp of the medium at 174cm. I have arms like a gibbon though. I’m basically all torso and arms (a bit like ET) and hoping it will be the right size.

Short version - what size are you riding and what’s your height / dimensions?

Cheers

If most of your height is in your torso rather than your legs then I’d say that’s the right size.

You're the exact same height as me on the same bike I ride and it's perfect for me

Which exact model is it? Reach changed between versions. (Colour should tell me which one it is).

I'm 178 on a medium and its pretty much perfect. I tend to set bikes up fairly racey - saddle a fair way back on the post, stem slammed, but I'm running 140mm forks and 20mm rise bars, so with the saddle adjustment available as well, there should be plenty of options for you to make it work. Blinding bike, they really are.

I’m toying with one of these, a Sonder Signal or Kona Honzo. Basically a do it all HT for everything from big days out to general arsing about.

Can't comment on the other 2, but I've pretty much "done it all" on my Soul - big bikepacking days in the Lakes, loads of normal Peaks day rides, and its an absolute hoot on stupid steep enduroey trails - I had a stonking couple of days at the Golfie on it last year, and it takes Wharncliffe sloptech in its stride too.

Thanks Jon. It does look nice and I have fond memories of my old 26 Bfe.
