I have a Cotic Solaris with Marzochi 44 ti fork set with 120mm travel. I'm wondering whether to reduce it to 100m travel - has anyone ridden a Solaris with 100 and 120mm travel and did you notice much difference? The reason is that I don't need 120mm travel for the majority of my riding and I would hope to get better climbing and cornering with a slightly steeper head angle. Also the Cotic website does seem to recommend using 100mm travel.
I ride mine with 120mm travel and prefer it I must admit apart from raising the BB height a bit, keep meaning to try one of the slacksets and play around with different headangles to see what happens.
So did you prefer the handling with 120mm travel?
Has anyone else tried it with 100 and 120mm travel?
