I keep looking at the Alpkit 650b set to see if I can run a 9mm axle

Looks like it could be the orange Salsa one, or the Easton one.

So, can anyone help me spec or order a road plus wheelset. I need 135mm QR rear and 9mm bolt through front. 650b rims. £300 or less?

Cheers

James

I'm using std love mud 9mm qr on mine up front. Not noticed a difference from the supplied bigger one.

I've got a standard QR in mine. Fits in ok, does require a bit of a wiggle, well, manual handling but it works.

Have also had a 9mm bolt through QR, which I presume it's meant for, in there.

Building mine at present, got the BB & headset fitted at the mo and awaiting my Rival 1x11 parts. Ordered a pair of Juin Tech R1 brakes for stopping duties as I couldn't stretch to full hydro's. Should be complete in a month or so funds permitting and sourcing of a long cage Rival rear mech.
