Picked up my SolarisMAX three weeks ago and had some hub issues (as detailed here ) over the first three rides. Long story short, bike went back last week, the Superstar hub was diagnosed with tolerance issues, and I've upgraded to Hunt Trail Wides. Bike came back today and the wheels look lovely, and don't make any untoward noises!

All my interaction with Cotic has been great. I had a long to-and-fro with Sam on email when I was faffing about, trying to decide on what spec to order etc. He was very tolerant of my dithering. And over the last couple of weeks I've been dealing with Paul trying to get the wheel issue sorted, and again he's been very helpful and communicative. Probably the only issue has been the fact Cotic use TNT for their deliveries, and TNT are hopeless delivering to us here in the wilds of the Cotswolds.

Three thumbs up (two just doesn't seem sufficient). Now if only it would stop raining...

I concur, really nice to deal with when I bought my FlareMax earlier this year, arrived with a gash in the box and a scratched seat stay, obviously courier caused, sent me a replacement stay and all sorted in a day or two, easy peasy.

Have to totally agree here.

Due to my hamfistedness trying to fit my bottom bracket in my BFe max frame I thought I had royally buggered up.

Cy checked his cutters and found a slightly worn one and offered pay for it to be sorted.

He also send me a free riding t shirt !!

As I was also in the original thread and had the same (first) issue with the Superstar hubs I can concur hope helpful and Cotic have been. Currently waiting on my upgraded Hope wheels so I can enjoy some ride time on an otherwise outstanding bike.

I'd be surprised if he did, what with a FlareMax being a FS...

Yeah, Alus a pain to weld, some superglue should do the trick!

I have found Cotic great to deal with and i've never had a problem, just found them happy to answer any questions and discuss the ideas fully.

edit: I just had the image in my mind of a single chain stay tube being put in the post.
