I know its marketed as a hooligan bike, but anyone run one as a bit of a mile muncher? Thinking about swapping bits over from my old Giant Anthem

I have a very similar alloy hardtail and although I can use it for XC rides (and only have it and a Levo so it is my default XC bike) that’s not what it’s best at. They’re play bikes, so as long as you do enough playing on it then you may not mind that a shorter travel 29er is better for mile-munching.

Mine has 140mm forks, I use it mainly for longer rides 20-40 miles as I have an enduro bike for more DH stuff. It does either type of riding really well.
