the hose pipe ban doesnt seem to be going away, its still not rained uch near me in 8 months..
since i last looked it seems you can get a cordless pressure washer for £24 upwards, are they any good, can anyone recommend a budget option, ideally i'd use a bucket/ 32l container to rinse/wash my bike.
reviews on amazon seem fake or hit and miss..
As your bike is only going to have a thin layer of dust on it due to the lack of rain, wouldn’t a damp cloth be the better choice for a shiny bike?
I bought one of the USB rechargeable ones with an 8L tank for under £20. I think it might be sold as an electric garden sprayer as opposed to a pressure washer, but it works more than well enough to rinse the bike after a soapy scrub. It's not powerful enough to damage seals or flush bearings either. Good for taking in a car too.
@citizenlee any more details on that? Sounds good for throwing in the van.
its the crap in the drivetrain, and fork/shock/dropper seals and brakes i'm more concerned about, would prefer to blast some water on bits, my watering can is terrible

I got it from Temu.
This is the one although it shipped from their UK warehouse.
Should be able to find similar on Amazon or eBay.
Amazon accept returns very easily, so just order one and see 🙂
If you've got a battery power tool set with a popular battery for ripping off (makita #1 for ripoffs) then a wee trip to aliexpress or amazon for something compatible could be good- I've got a little one which takes my makita 18v battery, it cost £18 IIRC and it's actually not bad.
(stealth ad), I've got a Mobi washer in the shed that I literally never use, if you're anywhere near Edinburgh...)
got one of ebay £20 delivered, not expecting much, as long as it works for a few months,
i'd priced up one with a bosch battery a few years ago and its now £160, so think my plan to use the bosch batteries i have is pointless
