Running out of lockdown jobs so someone gave me an idea for my Kona Raijin frame. I'm going to get some Scotchbrite pads and clean up the frame (told you I was bored 🙄) then ill need to put on some new Copter Tape. I found a roll in Screw fix called T Tex tape but I wonder if that's too thick and not flexy enough. So is the genuine 3M the best option and if so who's doing the best deal? Oh and 2 pads should be enough for a light frame clean up I guess?
T rex tape is just sticky tape isn't it (like.clear gorilla tape)? In which case it'll be crap compared to copter tape.
Thought as much.
Genuine 3m, expensive but better than the cheap stuff. What I always use anyway.
I need to order some but it’s £45 for 3m of 75mm, want to split an order?
Viking tape are the cheapest, eBay ends up being £30-40 for 1m of the stuff and I don’t trust it’s always genuine.
Gusset sell Tek frame tape for quite a reasonable price, it's just 3m stuff in their packaging and at a better price
