I have a standard thru axel rear wheel on my Codeine 29r. Thinking of swapping the frame for a Solaris Max, but it has boost spacing. What do i need to convert it? And do i need to change the rear mech??

Mech will be the same. By standard thru axle I'm assuming you mean 142x12. You will need some spacers (eBay). There are two ways to do it. Firsts is a 3mm spacer on either end of the axle and 3mm spacer on the disc mount. This requires no change to the wheel but will have a sub optimal chain line (as the cassette will be 3mm further inboard than normal). The second way is one 6mm spacer on the disc side, a 6mm spacer behind the disc (don't forget longer disc bolts!) and a slight re-dish on the wheel to centre the rim. This way puts the cassette in the correct position.

Both ways assume 6 bolt rotors. If your centre lock then new wheel time.

There are now centerlook boost adapters.

3mm spacers each side does not always work with some frame/mech combinations.
