I have a 130mm coil recon gold rl think its 2011 or 2012 model,i would like
to know if I can put a 140 dual position Coil in there,
and do I need any more than the coil and top knob?

Google rockshox recon 2011 technical manual and it will bring up the guide and if you do parts list it should give you the bits needed

The other thing is how can I tell if this model can go longer?
I've got a 2012 Sektor DP Coil 120/150 for sale if you don't get it sorted.
You need the coil an the top knob an what ever bits inside that leg like I spacer so see the service book an see what parts are I. The coil leg that's what you will need an they will go longer as its just spacers they put in them

Cb I am hoping to get these converted as they are nearly ideal, having 20mm
Maxlelite and tapered steerer.
I am running them on a Bfe mk3, just want them a bit longer and a bit more shorterer
for climbing.
