Ordered the kit to do this from Mojo. Looked online for video info but all there is is how to do it the other way round. Kit comes with a ball bearing which dosen't appear to fit anywhere. When fitted it works but am concerned as the lever dosen't 'lock' into position on the middle setting. Kit did not come with a new topcap, should I be using the remote one or not using it at all? Should it lock into position? Very confused, any help appreciated.

Mojo told me it couldn't be done easily, for the reasons you're finding...

Bearing drops in a hole under the lever - that's what gives you the detent feel so that's why you haven't got a middle setting stop.

Just checked lever, no notch for bearing which seems odd, remote topcap has one. A call to Mojo in the morning will hopefully sort me out.
