Anyone done it? Any problems?

Thinking of getting the Stans conversion kit and giving it a go - hell of a lot cheaper than buying/fitting new rims.

I did 321s which I think are the pinned not welded ones, but the same width, used the wider stans kit, no problems. Do it works for me with a variety of maxxis tyres, from high rollers to crossmarks.

Looks like rhyno lite is the one not the standard.

Not done those rims but converted some 6 year old 321s the other weekend. Roval blue tape, Roval valves, Stans.

Clean the rims throughly, then clean them again and let them dry. Round the rim twice with the tape making sure there are no bubbles (or as good as you've the patience for) between the tape and rim, make as small a hole as you can with a screwdriver for the valve, tiny bit of grease to seal around the valve that and push it through. Tighten with pliers.

Spesh 2bliss tyres, two scoops of Stans and track pump. Bob is your relation. I have no experience of other tubeless tyres, failed miserably with a non 2bliss spesh tyre and an ordinary Maxxis.

Advice from local mechanic was pump them up hard for the first ride, did that, little loss from one wheel but no problems since with them at a more normal pressure.
