Looking to convert a DT350 Oversize front hub from 20mm to 15mm. Is this the correct part #? HWGXXX00S4470S

If so, any ideas of somewhere that would have stock or would I need to order through Madison?

The DT site says "no solution". I think its because the 20mm 350 hubshell is full width - ie. 110mm - so you can't shorten it by changing end caps.

"Please note, these hubs are not interchangeable between different axle types; all three hub shells are different"

Just found the tech doc: https://www.dtswiss.com/Resources/Support/HUBS/DT-Swiss-Hubs-350-Technical-Manual

Page 13 shows the 350 OS hub. Looks like it comes apart easy enough so I'll have a look and see if I can make something. There are end caps on there (and a sleeve) so I would have thought shorter end caps and a 15mm sleeve would work?

Contact Madison via their on-line enquiry page. They'll tell you if there's a part available and where to get it if so. They responded very quickly to a 350 hub query I had a few months ago.

I knew I'd read the thing about width somewhere. Of course CRC answer could be wrong ...

"No, sorry; the 350 hub runs a pre-built 110mm width for 20mm thru-axle and cannot be converted down to 100mm as required for 15mm/QR. The 15mm version of their hub can be converted down to run QR, but the 20mm version is not convertible."

I don't think you can convert like you can with Hope hubs. I would like to be able to do this too to use a winter tyre on another bike but don't think it is possible.

All the other DT hubs I've come across have been easily convertible, looks like it's just the oversized 350's that aren't.

I, stupidly, presumed that by buying the biggest hub it would be convertible to all normal sizes (15/9mm etc) but that doesn't appear to be the case. Nice one DT 👿

Looking at the schematic it can't be that hard to make something on my CNC's that will replace the normal end caps and spacer to suit 15mm?

The flanges on the OS 350 are 11.9mm (110 - 23.3 - 32.2 vs. 100 - 22.4 - 35) farther apart, I assume this will cause some clearance issues?
