I can't get iMovie to recognise my Contour Roam movies, unless I convert to AVI, which results in a noticeable reduction in quality. My Contour saves movies in .MOV format, which iMovie won't allow me to import.
I'd like to know how to import straight from the camera ideally, edit them in iTunes and them upload them to Vimeo.

I have not had a problem with imovie recognising my contour footage in .MOV. Just selected download movie in edit and then selected the contour camera from drop down.
