Where is the best place to get these: http://www.conti-online.com/generator/www/de/en/continental/bicycle/themes/mtb/cc_marathon/MountainKing22/MountainKing22_en.html
www.nextdaytyres.co.uk are usually pretty good for contis.
Thanks for that 🙂
which ones? they do wire, folding and protection.
Wire were really cheap on ribblecycles, folding weren't much either.
if you have a specific product in mind google shopping can be really good to help you find or bikepimp.
if you're after a pair, i couldn't find better than this:

Great call supersaiyan, I was after the 2.2 ProTection ones. Are these the ones made in Germany with Black Chilli?
YeAh I want some of these tyres for summer... Tho they have changed the design a lot. The new design is very wobbly ...I prefer last year's design for summer riding.

I ordered a Mountain King II (2.2) from High On Bikes at lunchtime on Friday and it was on my doorstep (in the Isle of Man) by 9.00am the next morning!
I wouldn't say the 2.2 comes out small (in my opinion!), it's the second pair I've had and they're great tyres!
So are these mountain king 2's any good for general rocky, wet riding? peaks, wales lakes type stuff?
Is the non-black chilli rubber any good or a bit sketchy in the wet?
and do they come up large or small or bang on?
Looking for something to use throughout this year for dyfi and long rides in the hills. don't want too much drag but like a good bit of grip. would probably use a 2.2 R and 2.4 F. (EDIT: just re-read that and realised it is like the holy grail of all tyres duh!. - Are they draggy)
