I already have 2x25c GT's. However I took them off the bike as they punctured none stop. The cheapy conti ultra sport that I put on havent had one puncture by comparison. Borrowed 4000S feel great but whats the difference between these and GT's?

Gp4000's are a bit of a benchmark when it comes to road tyres. A lot of folk race on them and swear by them. I've got both, the gt's seem a bit harder wearing and I've never had a puncture on them.

What tubes are you running? Pressures? I run mine at 90 psi.

Spesh tubes. I dont get it. The GT's had punctures every ride. Got them cheap on merlin (36 for the pair). The ultra sports none.

Were the gt's oem? I think the quality of contis tends to be a bit variable. And oems are certainly not as good.

Did they come in individual branded boxes or with a continental label round them (if wire bead)? Unlikely to be OEM if so. Or were they just tie wrapped in a folded state?

The GPs are great but a pain to put on and they certainly aren't puncture proof!
