any pointers for a phone number ? being messed around by a shop and could do with going straight to 'horses mouth'for an opinion...

Have you tried the contact form on their website?
I'd imagine responses will be pretty slow at the moment as their merger with Fishers has caused quite a number of IT issues (as well as them having a load of new staff) which haven't been helping shops in the slightest.
