Hey all,
I am after a bit of advice around Evil Uprising's from anyone whose owned one.
I recently bought a Transition Covert carbon to replace my ageing but trusty 2012 Spicy 516. The Covert was damaged in transit so I went back to the drawing board.
Ive seen 2 Uprising's for sale, one M/L and one M. I am 5'11 and currently ride a M Spicy with a 70mm stem, which from what I can find is very similar specs:
<div id="yMail_cursorElementTracker_1540248246906">Medium Spicy:</div>
<div id="yMail_cursorElementTracker_1540248315778">Top tube - 590mm</div>
<div id="yMail_cursorElementTracker_1540248305308">Head angle - 68 degrees</div>
<div id="yMail_cursorElementTracker_1540248420681">Seat tube angle - 73.5 degrees</div>
<div id="yMail_cursorElementTracker_1540248900335">Seat tube length - 430mm length</div>
<div id="yMail_cursorElementTracker_1540248447094">Chainstay length - 430mm length</div>
<div id="yMail_cursorElementTracker_1540248306265"></div>
<div id="yMail_cursorElementTracker_1540248274721">Medium Uprising:</div>
<div id="yMail_cursorElementTracker_1540248321691">Top tube - 585mm</div>
<div id="yMail_cursorElementTracker_1540248489908">Head angle - 66.5 degrees</div>
<div id="yMail_cursorElementTracker_1540248593566">Seat tube angle - 72.8 degrees</div>
<div id="yMail_cursorElementTracker_1540248860850">Seat tube length - 432mm length</div>

<div>Clearly I like my bikes small!</div>
<div></div>
<div>Now, long term durability. Bearings, carbon cracking, etc. Whose ridden one hard or long term? I get out maybe twice a month for most of the day, Im not a hard rider but Im not afraid of riding techy stuff and do most things on my Spicy. I have read half of the massive thread on MTBR forum about them and am aware of the paint crack on the mk1 chainstay joins between the carbon and aluminum. What about spare bolts, etc?</div>
<div></div>
<div>Any help is appreciated!</div>

I've got one, see the other recent thread about Uprisings-

They're good bikes, (albeit flawed for some people with the tyre clearance and cracking problems) but I imagine spares are pretty non-existent now. Some small parts may be the same as on their current bikes I guess but I wouldn't rely on it.
FWIW I'm glad I bought mine and wouldn't swap it, but have the feeling I may be on borrowed time on it. Had it 3 years now (bought s/h/) and ridden it pretty hard. You'll be wanting a M/L or a large, M will be too short.
Thanks Stevet1 appreciate the information. Not sure what happened to my post, its gone a bit weird.
I am thinking a M would be too small, weird though as the numbers are very similar to my Spicy but I note with a slacker seat angle the BB is going to be pushed forward more so the cockpit will be tighter.
The lack of parts worries me a little, it would be my first carbon frame but with how little I ride it should last awhile. I wouldn't get a warranty with any other 2nd hand frame.
