Right, our building work to set up cycling-focused holiday lets in N Wales is in full swing... but we can't decide quite what sort of beds to provide.
We have two properties each of which will have a double bedroom. In one property we are going to have two single beds that can be zipped together to form a very comfortable double if needed.
In the other let we were thinking of having a fixed double bed in the bedroom and large futon in the living room (separate from the sofa on which the sitting will be done). The thinking is that if a couple and another want to use the let then there is that option but if it's just two ("uncoupled") people then one can have the bedroom and the other the futon. Reckon that's a good idea or just a recipe for squabbles? Would we be better off just having the zip up beds in the bedroom like the other property?
Have you stayed in places that have worked well? I'd welcome your thoughts...
Thanks
Rich
Double and a zed bed sounds perfectly reasonable to me, have used that combination loads of times when staying places with my kids
