thinking of heading there to bike / hike monday - prob snowdonia - is penmac rideable re snow and ice ?if not we may go for a hike with our full winter gear.. anyone been up snowdon / tryffan recently?

I was up at Dolgellau last 2 days. Had a large dump of snow Thu night which closed Coed y Brenin but Marin trail was open. That far north seemed to avoid the worst of the snow; the majority of the higher peaks had a nice dusting though. With full winter gear i'd imagine you'd have the right clothing.
