I have the one up components edc tools on a couple of bikes which I am happy with.

Just bought some granite designs chain tools and plug tools that fit in the handlebar ends, which are really good quality, but the plug tool is flawed IMO as there is no storage for spare rashers.

Anyone have recommendations stashable tools that can be left on the bike

especially looking for good ways to carry a co2 inflator and cannisters and of course the previously mentioned puncture repair rashers?

A little pouch strapped to your bottle cage, I have the topeak ninja + bottle cage with the pouch. It easily holds CO2 canisters and CO2 head plus lots of other little bits.

Aren't they meant to just stuff into the little tube around the pointy poker and the prongy tool?

Sort of like illustrated here:

Failing that couldn't you just tape them onto the end and shove them a bit further into the bar?

If you have a tapered steerer tube of the round variety you can use a Miles Wide Fork Cork to hold spare bacon strips and anything else you can wedge up there.

Available from many places as well as Singletracks very own shop https://singletrackmag.com/shop/miles-wide-industries-fork-cork-tapered-suspension-fork-storage-stash-spot/

Ive just bought a kayak bung ( £2.00) from ebay to store my anchovies and tubeless tools in my steerer. I got a lifeline tubeless kit from wiggle (£3.00) cut down the handles and fitted them into an anodised capsule from go outdoors ( £2.00) Size wise its a bit bigger than a co2 cartridge.(You could store a co2 capsule in the bung instead). Fits everything including prong, hole opener?,trimming knife and spare anchovies. It fits nicely inside the bung and the bung fits up the steerer. Went out yesterday and hammered some rooty singletrack and its not moved or rattled around.

I am also using a kayak bung in my steerer with the Leyzne pocket drive pump, credit to packer. Pump is very low volume but I never really use it anway.

I'm using the Zefal Z Bar Tyre Plugs in one grip (anchovies, tyre plug tool, chain links) and I've got a tyre lever in my second grip with standard bar end plug.

I lost the other side of the Zefal Z Bar kit due to it rattling loose, however you don't need that piece. Sahmurai SWORD is an alternative to the Zefal kit.

I've then got my Topeak Ninja T Mountain multitool which includes a second tyre lever and chain tool attached to my bottlecage.

I am using these plugs (medium) but the fit is very tight, they could use a tiny bit of sanding to get them in a little easier.
