Were off to Comrie Croft this weekend, having never been before. Any recommendations? Fairly fit bunch of riders on a mixture of hardtails & full Suss. Anywhere good for lunch recommendations and Sunday breakfast?
The cafe at comrie Croft is really excellent. The whole place is a little gem
I'm also there on Saturday morning...I'll hopefully grab lunch at the café there as it is good.
Do everything. It can be done in one go if you're fit. It's a decent climb bottom to top, but not too bad. Blue starts halfway up so do that first then go all the way to the top and come down red. Then up again and black. If you do the reds in order it jumps back to the top after the first couple of single-track bits.
Also when you get to the sign that offers nice single-track Vs a shortcut. Go right for the former. It's very nice single-track.
Thanks. Going to try the blue, red and black on the Saturday.
Enjoy!
I ride the upper red as a figure of 8, and then the blue down to the Croft.
Get in the queue for the coffee van and send Thump up to ride the black.
Some of the riders are small and far-away:

Best moment ever was a bunch of students from Dundee going, "how young are these guys!".
Watch out for the gravel in the carpark - claims as many riders as the trails.
CC cafe is awesome, no need to go anywhere else! Enjoy 👍

Tru dat!
It's a great place to ride, deceptive amount to do despite the relative smallness. Haven't been for ages, need to fix that!
Huge fan of Comrie. Agree the cafe is great so no need to go elsewhere.
I think it’s probably the most ‘bang for buck’ place I’ve ever ridden. Practically no filler sections. You do say 10 miles there and it feels like double that because it’s just constant engaging excellent riding.
Yep cafe is amazing. Won't get better food for miles. Make sure to ride 'Natual Gold' which starts off the top of the very top bit of red. If you want a bit more techy riding take a drive down to the Crieff Hydro and try out some of the trails behind that, they are lovely. You can make a decent full loop out of it as well if you like pedalling days.
