I have an FSA compression bung designed to compliment the Orbit ITA headset I've fitted to my Ragley Trig frame. It's a relatively short affair.
The FSA instructions state that the bung should be secured in the steerer tube at 6-9Nm, but this seems really high (the stem bolts are only 4Nm).
What would people recommend (I've emailed Ragley too).
Would I be better off with a longer bung, they're available up to 3x the length of the FSA?
