My POS Garmin 810 cut out on me again last night mid ride losing the ride up until that point. It happened when going off course when following a route. Its a problem I thought the idiots at Garmin had fixed a long time ago. Its probably a new feature.
Before I throw the thing in the bin is there anyway of completely resetting everything as if it was a new unit?
I have done the master reset and the user date clear which I think might of done it but I seem to remember there was some files that also need deleting off the device via a pc.

Probably the best solution.
Its reading all these people buying new ones that has made me want to sort mine out.
I nearly 'upgraded' to the 810 but bought the 800 instead. Sorry to say it but I'm glad I did now. Hope you get sorted.
