Compact frame storage options

Looking for some ideas to hold a very small bit of kit on the frame. kit is co2 cartridges with compact inflator, dynaplug racer, very compact chain breaker and chain link. Will either mount under top tube (does have 2 mounting points) or behind bottle cage on the down tube on the full sus. Space is quite small so Has to be pretty compact

options I have looked in to so far (not stocked locally so just going off online pics).

Dakine hot laps gripper. Issue looks be be that it is designed to carry a tube. Might be a bit bulky and not strap down tightly with small kit.

Peatys frame wrap bag. Looks fairly long, not sure if it would Sag from the top tube and might be just a bit too long for down tube.

various on frame straps - not sure tools would stay put. Exposed to elements.

anyone used any of the above? Any other options would be great fully received!

Restrap made a really small bag for the Cotic SolarisMax that has worked well for me. Not sure if they still do them.

I've got a Peaty's. It really doesn't hold much at all, but will probably be ok for what you want. It's not long (I'd say 8" tops, maybe less) and won't sag

I’ve got a Louri/Huck strap and mini drybag. It holds CO2 inflator and spare canister, tiny Topeak tool, tube and sticky patches.

Revelate designs do two bags

A Nook and Cranny. My wife has the bigger one of the two on her smallish  frame. ( 1litre volume )

A useful bag fits below top tube ,behind headset, in the naŕrow gap where the tubes  meet ,she can put a small top tube bag above it as well..

It even has a few pockets inside it if needed and a key fob thing.

But for the price it should be good!

Edit: i had to drop her drinks bottle 20mm for a 750mm bottle with a std bottle cage, not a side loader.

Her bike is a hardtail.

The bags are designed for full suss bikes.

The dakine one isn’t that good tbh as you do need a tube (or something in that space) for it to fasten down and as with a lot of these types of straps as soon as you need to use the tube then without it no of the other bits stay fastened to the frame.
The Peaty’s one works pretty well. I’ve got a tpu tube, CB multitool, co2 and plug kit in the shape of a co2 in mine and it has the benefit of should I use the tube it’ll still all wrap up in the bag. Mines attached to the downtube of an ebike so no sagging but I don’t think it would sag anyway.

I have the Dakine one and it isnt great, too bulky with a tube and doesnt work without. It is also quite open at the top and seems to be a mud magnet.

I now use the louri dry bag, it is a bit messy when folded over but secure and waterproof.

I think it would fit below my water bottle. Will give that one a try.

Altura tool roll works well for me. I fit it to a storage bracket but it is meant to fit around saddle rails so it might work just on the top tube.

It's pretty robust so whilst it folds pretty flat, it can't be squashed much shorter - think mine ends up about 10-11cm in length with the various tools in & the edges folded.

Works for me as well.

TPU tube, tyre levers, Lezyne multi tool and a fairly large plastic cased tubeless worm kit in mine.

Held together by its own strap, and then strapped to the frame with a Singletrack enduro strap.

1l dry bag (with rolltop clip cut off), held onto a mini strap deck (shortboard?) from drjon/bagworks with a 50mm wide velcro strap. I take a tube, tool, tyre lever, inflator and CO2 cannister.  Could take a bit more or less, just fold the bag down less or more, cinch tight with the strap.

I've been looking for something similar too, I've had a few rides now with no backpack, pump on the bottle bosses and tube tied to frame with tools in pockets. Actually a bit of a revelation, I can't believe I used to do trail centre rides with a big sweaty backpack!

So far the EVOC frame bag is what I'll probably go for, looks a good size and has a couple of different mounting options

Actually going to go for EDC threadless carrier so now just looking for the smallest option just to carry my Co2 and little muc off inflator. Thinking it’s best to wrap them in something waterproof or get a very small waterproof bag and use a frame strap.

any recommendations for nice secure frame straps? Think I might have an old black country one somewhere.

I've the EVOC one.

OP - you're missing chain pliers, a spare mech hanger, additional Dyna-plugs and brake pads.

Have you already a mini-tool elsewhere?
