Hi,
I have 700x24 rims on my commuter, and am considering tyres for summer.

Was thinking either 700x28 or 700x32 tyres ... but I was wondering:

Will the 28's fit properly?[/*]
Will the 28's give a much harsher ride?[/*]
I have tiny tyres on my racer, but I don't use that on a daily basis.

Thoughts?

I was thinking one of these, maybe ...

on a commuter? 28s or 32s won't be much different imo. Harsher ride? try running at 90 instead of 100psi will make more difference.

i run 622x28 on my road bike, good compromise between skinny racer and hybrid - went for Conti Gatorskins

Running 23's here, no clearance for any bigger. Run at 110psi gives a nice ride.

for commuting, I used to have 25s at 100psi and now have 34s at 60-70. There's quite a difference in comfort between the 2, the 25s are quicker for sure but the 34s (which are puncture resistant schwalbe touring tyres) haven't punctured once in 5,000 km (all last year) so I'm sticking with them
