Commuter light - deals?

We'll be dropping down to one car early next year, so after a few years off I'll be back on the bike for the commute.

I dig out and charged up my old Exposure Enduro (the fat one), but it seems as though one of the bulbs has gone and it's not holding any charge. Mind you, it's got to be 15 years old so no surprise.

A Halfords light has been mentioned here, but anything else I should look at? Primarily for being seen rather than seeing with, but would like it pretty bright.

Cheers

Get something with stvzo certification.

Exposure lights have a lifetime warranty on the L.E.D's

Contact them and see what they say, sending it back to them to repaired and checked over may work out cheaper than buying a replacement

I recently had my Diablo repaired due to a dodgy connection to the switch, cost less than £10 including the return postage

Exposure Boost is an excellent day light. It’s 380 lumens means it’s not bad in the dark either. I really like the compact size as it sits under a Garmin on a K-Edge mount on all my road bikes and on my folders too. Mine was £70 which is £10 off the RRP. Halfords lights are also fine and about half that price. Again, look for 400 lumens.

There are quite a few STVZO style lamps on Ali-Express/Amazon - Rockbros and Newboler.  Cheap at about £10 for upto 1000 lumen - the cut off is really good, and I use one on a shared use path - doesn't dazzle and you can see the light beam is just at waist height. It's enough on 2 of 3 levels to see in pitch black. I do have this backed up with a Fenix light with remote, so I can knock that from full beam to low with a quick press.

First option is to contact exposure - their service really is first class.
Second option is definitely an STVZO compliant light (not just a beam with cut-off.

Not a deal by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm mightily impressed by my supernova airstream lights. I love that beam pattern and the fact the rear light plugs into the front

Cheers all, contacted Exposure and they said they would take a look, but warned me that they don't carry spares for the Turbo range of lights. They don't owe me anything, so I'm not too fussed.

They have offered me part ex on a new light, but I think I just need something to be seen with for now so will look for something STVZO as above.

Thanks all for the help.

Exposure Strada might fit the bill since they’re offering a part-ex?

Not STVZO as far as I know but has a ‘road specific beam’ if that’s similar
