New job means I can commute to work, currently I walk a mile to work, but new shifts mean I need to be at work for 5:30 and once a week work until 11pm, there is no trains that time so thought will get a bike. The commute is 14 miles each way. I was looking at this one:

Or should I stick to my current road bike a canyon roadlite, or maybe a different road bike? I can get £850 on cycle to work, my limit.

That is a decent looking bike. If you are looking for something with a drop handle bar though I recommend this Whyte Sussex. It is a little less, £799.
