I'm looking for a waterproof backpack like the Ortlieb Velocity - any suggestions?

I have one from Lomo

It's done 3 years of daily use. Roll top bits are cracking a bit but completely waterproof still

IIRC, main difference between Lomo & Overboard is that the Overboard one i linked to has a small internal pocket (phone, cards, cashetc) to save fishing around for small stuff inside the bag and a couple of external mesh pockets. The Lomo is a very competitive price though.

I've gone for the basic 20L Overboard as the Lomo was a bit big. The overboard is smarter, has a few useful pockets and D-rings for attaching bits and bobs.
