Hi.

I'm looking at one of these in small 16" frame for my son. I've had a Soul and currently ride a Solaris but with 115/120mm forks respectively.

How does the new soul ride with 140mm forks? I can see it will slacken the head angle a bit which is ok for giving him some confidence whilst descending, but how does it handle generally and going up hill?

He's 5'5" at the minute, what length stem and bar width would be best?

Thanks for any insights/comments

'just fine' is the answer you're looking for

bar (especially) and stem will be personal to him, stem anywhere from 30-60mm (towards the shorter end for his size I would expect) I would think and bars depending on his shoulders/arms and what he feels comfortable with. height isn't necessarily an indicator for bar width.

What width does he ride now?
