What saddle would you recommend for the heaver person (not fat)... ? I've got a charge spoon atm i can ride for about 5mins before it becomes uncomfortable any suggestions?

brooks swift/swallow/team pro i use a team pro and until recently i was 18 1/2 st, ive never had such a comfy saddle and ive tried spesh bg,bontrager and sdg bel air amongst others.

yes but it doesnt take long, maybe 150 - 200 miles but once done it's shaped itself to you. i dont even notice mine is there anymore.

i'm 13.5 stones and the gobi XM works wonders. best saddle i've ever had.

What's speifically the problem with the Spoon?

I didn't like mine either, but I'm a fairly skinny bloke, so might not be for the same reasons.

Anyway, Specialized Romin/Phenom in 143mm width is where it's at for me. Can sit on one of these comfortably for hours as they really suit my arse well.

its a numbing pain between the cheeks and behind the sack its one of the worst saddles I've owned
