Can anyone recommend a good one that I can attached to my frame? Or is everyone just relying on co2 on its own now? For when I'm doing 2-3 hour local rides without my pack.

Not used a pump for years - only time I failed was when I found the CO2 had already been used 🙁 . A passer buy fetched a track pump at what was 11 PM in suburbia! Two C02 and two tubes.

Bontrager Air Rush Road CO2 which seems to be discontinued - great for road, CX tyres. Almost lost my arm when trying to inflate the mtb tyre though. The Air Support HP/HV looks like a great alternative.

Right now sporting the Genuine Innovations Mountain CO2 Pipe and inflating the B+ to a 25ish PSI is not a problem.

Always carry two cartridges though!

Specialized make an MTB and road mini pump and CO2 combined. Called the air tool. Its well made and does the job. It is limited to presta though.

Thanks, the Genuine Innovations one looks like what I'm after.

I think I have either the bontrager or spec one, never used in anger though so far!

Those tiny mini-pumps are a disaster, you spend hours crouched by the roadside engaged in what looks like an act of self-abuse. Gas every time for me.

I have just bought a Blackburn Designs CO2fer. A mini pump with a CO2 canister hidden away inside it to allow both options.
Only received it yesterday, so haven't had cause to use it yet, but I spent some time researching before I decided upon this one. Quality feels good.

@globalti done a couple of events that specify a pump not just CO2 on the mandatory list so it's there for that only.

Conversely you could probably get away with "knocking one out" and if you're in the right position people would probably just think you're pumping up a tyre 🙂

I have the OneUp Components pump. Beautifully made, the head of the pump unscrews to become the head on the CO2 & the cartridge sits inside.
Lovely piece of kit.
