I have owned a pair of crank-brother double shot 2 pedals and love their versatility. However, as I progress i find the flat sides moulded metal pins are not enough for grip. Would it be possible to mount new, standard pedal pins by drilling holes in the pedal body and screwing the new pins in?
I notice there are some other styles of "combination pedals" now on the market however I prefer the Crank-brothers cleat mechanism over the Shimano SPD. In addition, I would not want anything with huge pins - only small - hence why if DIY works it would be ideal!
Thanks
Does anyone have any reccomendations for short, after-market pins?
