Has anyone or is anybody aware of a database or spreadsheet having been compiled that lists down various Bikes and their geometry (Measured and/or taken from manufacturers published data)
Or better yet a decent, searchable web-page front end designed for the collection of such data?
I only ask because I've found myself looking more and more at the numbers that make up various frames, trying to compare them and finding it a bit of a ballache TBH...
I think it would be a useful resource for some people, a bit like the weight weenies listings but focused on frame and fork geometries (Across all types of bike)...
Any ideas Anyone?....
I think there are too many bikes and too much variation in how they're measured
I'm not suggesting one could gather details of all bikes ever created, or that you would be able to input measurements for every possible feature, but just because something is a large task doesn't mean it shouldn't be (or indeed hasn't already been) attempted.
I do think it would be a useful resourse both for those looking at designing their own frame and those actually trying to understand a bit more about bikes...
