Think it's about time I got a proper road jersey instead of wearing my flappy MTB tops on the road bike, but I really don't like the neck hugging collars they all seem to have... Are there any that just have a normal round neck?

Best I can find so far is this Castelli, but it's a bit expensive (!), and even that isn't completely collarless.

Ah I was going to suggest that Castelli one. Their climber's jersey too has very little collar.

I've also got this Sportful one that has not much collar.

You'll possibly get something at a better price from DHB.

My DHB windchill long-sleeve has virtually no collar. Try their jerseys.

Planet X Pannello or Primavera. I have the latter and it's a really nice jersey too, well cut and cracking for the moment. Cheap too.

Thanks for the replies, that's given me a few things to look at. Might give the skin suit a miss though...

You could just unzip the Jersey slightly so the neck is loose fitting.

...and then zip it up when the weather gets cooler. Wow, what a brilliant piece of design.

Second the Planet X options, I've got three now, think they're panellos, the fluo ones anyway, for commuting. Even with the zip all the way up my base layer sits above the front of the jersey, back is nice and comfy too.

How's the sizing on the Planet X ones? They look worth a go for a tenner!

I'm 6'4", 92kg and wear a large and it fits me perfectly. But I like my road tops to be quite well fitted. They're not Italian cut but they're not baggy either.

Cheers. Decided to order a selection of sizes and I'll just return what doesn't fit. 😀
