I have a salsa vaya which is spaced at 135mm, but it's mainly used for road riding so i'd like to swap wheels to some lighter road wheels and of course most light, good value road wheels are 130mm on the rear.
Worth getting frame cold set to take advantage of wider choice at 130mm or just put it in and clamp QR down tighter?!
And in both cases - is that 5mm difference going to affect chain line significantly?
cheers

Or am i barking up the wrong tree - are road disc wheels even 130mm, they might be more to allow for the disc...

Not worth it. Plenty of nice 135 hubs to build a light wheelset. Just choose appropriate rims.

"Standard" road disc wheels are 135mm, 130 is the exception (some early disc frames, Specialized SCS, etc..).

Thanks - sound like my knowledge of road standards is way out of date then.
Should be simple enough to find lightish 135mm disc wheels
