nowt special needed, just a bed and a pub within walking distance of it.
Stayed here - http://www.tynygroes.com/
Nice and friendly, decent food, close to the trails, bike storage and cold beer 🙂
Ty Seren B&B in Dolgellau is worth a look.
We stayed here last year http://caegwynfarm.co.uk/ and we're off there again in may.
The rooms were really clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great.
For £1 they will give you a lift to the local pub and you get a free minibus drive back.
Also coed y brenin is a 5 minute ride down the road from the farm which is another bonus!
Cheers,
Ash.
That farm looks great. I may have to consider a trip here in the near future....
Take some ear plugs for the Tyn y Groes - it's a busy road.

I stayed here last year, great place and great pub they take you to.
A group of us stayed at tyn-y-groes which is a B&b at a pub, and designed for MTB-ers, very short ride from the trail centre, rooms with 3 or 4 beds, big shower rooms with loads of hooks to hang your kit on, plus a locked garage to store bikes. The food in the pub in the evening was good too.
Another vote for Cae Gwyn Farm. Stayed quite a few times, top place.
The farm is brilliant, bike locker is secure, somewhere to wash the bikes, and the shower facilities are good too, for a quid and night you cant go wrong
+1 for Tyn-y-Groes
+1 Cae Gwyn
Also, staying in a camper/van in Rhiw Goch Inn's car park is possible if you have one. Good food and open fires with beer in there too.

They also do this if theres a few of you...

Antur Stiniog one day, Coed y Brenin the next. Beer and food in Rhiw Goch. Awesome weekend.
The bunkhouse at Trawsfynydd holiday Park is really good with a decent lock up for the bikes and the Rhiw Goch pub across the road.
We've used Cae Gwyn Farm before for camping and it was great (well except Mr MC rupture his tricep tendon and had to sleep in tent in most horrific weather knowing he had to have surgery!!! Not the best).
Tyn-y-Groes looking interesting though too, anyone stayed in both and can recommend which is the best out of the two? We ar elooking at possibly going for a long weekend in APril.

Only camped at Cae Gwyn so not fair to compare, but the showers hot and its a roll DH to the trails but a ride back up with tired legs.
See comment on Tyn y Groes above

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. The farm looks perfect so will probably go with that if available. Cheers all.
