The Mrs fancies a wee go at "that zwift thing" so thought I'd try and cobble together something suitable that can use the cassette already on my trainer.

I've got an ultegra dbl crankset and just snagged some 105 flat bar shifters so only need a frameset and derailleurs... I think. This doesn't need to work as a real bike only a zwift bike.

I was thinking about getting a cheap, sub £50 ladies bike off gumtree as long as it has 130mm rear and a 68mm BB shell I should be good to go right? Most of these "ladies bikes" will be running the above standard and would work with a band-on FD as long as they have a hanger for the RD (so not one specifically for hub gears) or am I missing something?

Was thinking something like the following: ahh can't post link... if interested in what I was suggesting go to that "well known auction site" and search for: Dawes finesse Ladies Bike

Cheers
