Can anyone recommend a Mtb instructor/coaching course?
Thinking about doing one so I can help my kids develop their riding skills as they grow older
Not considering taking this on as a profession
Quick internet search found PMBI as the most promising with a add on option of kids coaching
Anyone have experience with this?

I am a volunteer coach with a Glasgow based club (youth riders). I went the BC route and am a BC level 2 MTB and Track coach and also MBLA Level 2. What I would say is that it is all very process and safety based, a lot on welfare, child protection, as it has to be as it is set up for group coaching, so maybe not the best for the specific purposes of getting good riding technique over to your own kids. For that a few bespoke family skill sessions might be a more efficient and effective way.
