Which do you prefer to carry when out for a ride? I know an inflator is convenient, but in the unfortunate event of multiple punctures could run out.

I run tubeless, carry a spare tube, but can't decide on which to go for...

Both. Use the pump if I've got time, inflator if I'm racing/cold/in a hurry.

As above. I see the CO2 not as a substitute for a pump, but rather a way of maybe saving time if in a race. If I am not racing I won't bother with the CO2 at all. If I am, then CO2 first, and if that fails or is used up then the pump is a fall back, since it would be a pain to not be able to get home when 10 miles from base.

Both. I carry a Topeak Mountain Morph when I am riding with a pack, and a CO2 canister or two and micro inflator for quick packless rides.

I tried a CO2 inflater for the first time a couple of days ago. It got me back up tubeless with ease, so I'll always be carrying it. I won't ditch the pump, though.
