Just wondered if anyone has done the clutch mech mod to make it run with a 9sp shifter and had any tips.

I was looking at this:

It looks like they did it with an XT but i fancy either an SLX or a Zee where the arm looks a bit less meaty.

I did it with XT on an X9 mech, might still have the wee adaptor block I made lying around somewhere if you want to have a look? But tbh if you don't already have a sram shifter that wouldn't make much sense, it stops being cost effective.

I have done it with a SLX and an XT rear mech, both work well.

Thanks for the links but I want to keep my XTR 9sp shifter so I am planning on drilling instead of shimming
