I'm stuck for 2 reasons - I'm clueless on clothing these days - newest bit of riding kit I have is about 3 years old...but I'm in need of some new kit - shorts, 3/4's, longs and some tops - basically stuff that will hopefully last me at least the next 2 years and cover off all 4 seasons.

What is there? I don't really do baggy stuff, I'm more lycra wearing so nothing 'freeride-mince' and all that jazz...effectively skin shorts/tights and tops...but I've no idea what is good.

I'm also stuck as I've got a 2.5 year apparently glued to my thigh and I can't get looking at bike sites to do any research and find some sales.

(She is currently balanced on the toilet so I can post this...good to see I've got my priorities sorted!).

Cheers.

From what I've seen Mr B, perhaps you should be thinking about heading towards the baggy clothing.

I've found Endura stuff to always be good but I'm sure someone will be along shortly to relate a horror story about poor quality and fit.

CRC have some great bargains on kit in their sale just now too.

cheers, Graeme

Ground Effect, dhb (Wiggles in house brand) and Endura, their top end lycra stuff (MT500 and FS260) are worth looking at. Polaris do some nice jerseys as well.

Decathlon seems like good value to me.

Decathlon sizes always seem a bit odd to me, and the kit is budget on the whole.

As mentioned above consider looking at baggy kit, Endura works for me although I've found their sizing a bit odd in the past (but we're talking a very long time ago).

I like Altura stuff.

Endura customer service is very good but I've had to use them quite a bit.

Aldi make some very good items, some not so good - but all very cheap. Only on sale a couple of times a year though.
