Wheelbase have some good deals on last year's Trek Madones. I picked up their 5.5, fantastic bike.

Wouldn't it be more economical to simply hire one?

Lot less hassle when you tire of it and as long as you're a roadie for the whole week you'll not have to angst about a refund for early return

just a thought

Halfords have deals on the boardmans. I'm very tempted by the pro at the moment, though it seems strangely heavy for it's spec.

jota180 has a point, we all know you'll be after a refund or upgrade to 2012 model due to you not thinking about something this or something else.

Check out jejames(sheffield), I got a series 6 madone frameset for 50% off and when I picked it up I noticed a fair few big discounts on full bikes.

Oh right, cheers. Too big for me and more suited to commuting than the velodrome I reckon.

You can buy mine if you want Hora. I've decided its got to go. Its not getting used, and is generally cluttering up the place. And its slightly too big for me really

After looking at your track bike, the words 'black', 'kettle' and 'pot' spring to mind

Anyway, your description of your track bike..

Its been stood unloved for ages.

... will apply to whatever you buy, within a week of you owning it

Binners, when you speak to Em next say hi/and apologies if it was her yesterday at the lights on Chester road- I think she said hi but I was in a rush to cross the dual carriage lights and didn't realise.
