Went here a couple years ago, always wanted to go back so consideing going there today. Whats it like now, any improvements done? Also is there a freeride section? (saw a Youtube vid which looked like there was)

No been there for a year so might be out of date, but the only real change I'm aware of in recent years is that all the trees have been felled on large parts of the final descent which makes it feel very different.

I believe the 'free ride' bit is the part marked "Woz's Wobble" in this map. Never taken that route so can't comment on it though.

climachx is only the start of it,

check out the other off piste runs, builth, dickos, elephant etc.etc. -

some will be used for the gravity enduro in August.

If you do ride wozs wobble it go steady the first time there were a few broken planks when I rode it last month.

Was it not the longest descent in Wales (or a simmillar accolade), some years ago ?
Either way, I loved it the few times I rode it.
We used to do it as a Friday night ride when camping at Torrent Walk, nr Dollgellau, for a CyB weekend.

Oh those crazy days. 😐
