On my second Orange Clockwork now, 2019 Evo 29 this time. 2017 one before that. Both have suffered with clicking seat posts. The post and Hope binder are the correct size but the post is pretty lose in the seat tube and I am constantly having to remove it, clean off the grit, grease it, refit it and then I get a few days use without clicking. Anyone else had issues with Thomson posts and Orange frames? What’s the solution? Cheers.

Thomson posts are notoriously under-sized.

"Thomson posts are notoriously under-sized."

Did you order the Peter Andre model?

Mine remains the only seatpost I've ever snapped.

Solution - brand x dropper.

Or  carbon paste as above or maybe buy an under sized post and shim it to the 'right' diameter.

Without any doubt, fact. It's the post. Buy any £10 post of eBay and it won't click. Been there with more than one frame it's the post.

Would a Coke can shim solve the issue? Or a Brand X (other brands available) seat post??
